"Crumbling a flower in search of its essence
is distorting its charm…
Searching for the
meaning of love in dictionaries is neutralizing its spell…
Flower is flower and
love is love… "

The
Devil rubbed His horns and sharpened His spear
carefully in readiness for a new day with new victims to be added to His
constantly growing quota. He felt proud and satisfied looking at His records
full of the stock of hatred and rancour which
His would sow in people’s souls and was satisfied with the supplies of
the efficient anti-love that has always been successful.
He
looked down at the world and felt pleased at the eternal struggle dating back
to Abel and Cain. He cried with all his forces: "Come to
Evil!" and He darted through
the clouds avoiding to see the clear sky the blue colour of which never pleases
Him. Blue is clarity and clarity is purity … A terminology that He has
purposely removed from his lexicon containing nothing but "Glory".
He
wished to see more wars sending up darker clouds of smoke. Only that view works
up His appetite for further conquests.
-“Those mortals are stupid.
How they like preaching love and good, and rejecting Hatred and Evil!”, He whispered
to Himself and cried again:
-“Evil is force … Evil is the
origin… weak souls alone take refuge in fake love.”
He
carried on sliding down through the clouds, aiming at a weak soul. From afar,
He saw Cupid, Angel of love,
holding his bow and arrow. The Devil laughed out sarcastically:
-“You, little arrogant child!
You’re wrong if you still believe your arrows to open people’s hearts to love!”
Cupid paid no attention to His provocation. The Devil grew angry from Cupid’s
indifference. He took up his arrow to shoot him but the angel moved up a little
to dodge the arrow. Calmly, Cupid put his arrow in his bow and shoot Him
on the chest.
The
Devil laughed out derisively watching the arrow
coming straight along. He received it with his chest scornfully, believing His
eternal character would prevent Him from any harm. In no time, the arrow
penetrated His chest and touched His heart. All of a sudden, the Devil
felt a pulsation which He has never felt before. He also felt the degree of Evil
dwindling more and more inside him. He tried, unconsciously, to feel His horns
with his hands but found no trace for them. He turned around but only to find
brand-new white wings growing up his back.
